Undaunted we indulge on the mission of delivering gossip and observations of dynamic as well as static behavior in front and behind the stages at Arvika Festival 2009.

In order to pilot our audience trough three days of total festival experiance we've drafted a number of informants deep under cover at various points of interrest. The deepthroats will provide their little nuggets daily sharpening the edge of this expermental new journalism blog.

we progress towards take-off and to keep heads and tails cool in Stockholm/Sweden the editor and crew's gathered to set the agenda at Fredhällsbadet. Sun drenched and a bit sturdy we dip into the 15 degree Celcius lake Mälaren in the center of the city.

The Idea of this Blog

Ersatz/Solholm Arvika Festival 2009 Blog

2009 will be the first year of hopefully many years of setting up these gossip files of observations during the Arvika Festival. It will cover as much as we put in it, edited by Ersatz/Solholm who will also be solely responsible for all content.

Dear participants, these are the terms and conditions:

Does:
You have volunteered to send at least 3 and at most 8 texts (SMS) at least 3 hours apart from noon July 1st to 3 a.m. July 5th with observations from the festival. These can be supported by pic’s or videos (cell phone produced and forwarded via MMS). You will also every day produce at least three 200-positions (approx. four standard texts/SMS) reviews of concerts or other entertainment from the festival. You can also do at most 1 interview with staff or an article on some aspect of working at the festival.

Don’ts:
You will not forget to submit your daily valid postings and reviews; Interviews with artists will not be accepted as valid postings.

You will not break the general rules of the Festival or act un-accordingly the spirit of Ersatz and unbecoming of a guest.

When submitted, all material belongs to Ersatz PR&Event and must not be used under any circumstances without written confirmation from Ersatz PR&Event. You do not have the right to alter or post yourself directly at the blog and you will not be credited specifically for observations. You will however not be held responsible for any reported and accepted observation, Ersatz PR&Event takes full responsibility for all and any postings.
